The song was produced by Jérémy Amelin and written by Kayden Boche, Peter Zaad, Claude Banks and Angelika Vee. Amelin recorded his parts with Olivier Bessaignet at Soundepic Studios in Paris, France and Vee recorded her parts with Peter Zaad in Bucharest, Romania.[3] On December 7, 2009, a 30-second snippet of the song was posted on Amelin's official YouTube channel. The snippet reached 1,000,000 views in two weeks.[4] A week later, Amelin talked about the song during a video interview on his official YouTube channel, stating :
"That's a really sexy song. It's basically about this girl clubbing with her friends just like me. We notice each other through the crowd, then rises a physical and sexual attraction. So we flirt and tease while playing some kind of animal courtship".[5]
The song premiered on French radio station FMC Radio on January 15, 2010, and hit the number one spot on the FMC Radio airplay charts on March 19, 2010.[6] "Oh, Oh !" was officially sent to radio stations on January 4, 2010.
Public Magazine gave the song the maximum five stars referring to it as a "smash hit single in between Lady Gaga and Britney Spears", and as being an "original mix-genius of electro, pop and dance". They added that the song "already sounds like an anthem that will be stuck in people's mind and that will be topping the charts".[7]
The music video was filmed on February 4, 2010 in Paris, France in a luxury restaurant on the Champs Elysées.[8] Directed by Kayden Boche, who previously directed Amelin's music videos of "What More" and "Dans L'Un, L'Une", the video premiered on May 18, 2010.[9]
